Information: Ida Bryon Bradley, 91, of Ripley, formerly of Sandyville, died April 6, 1988, at her home following a long illness. She was born in Jackson County, a daughter of the late Henry Calvin and Ida Belle Woodard Thornton. She was a member of the Sandyville United Methodist Church and the Sandyville Senior Citizens. She was a retired employee of the Jackson County Board of Education. She is survived by three sons, Carl Bradley of Vienna, Clyde Bradley of Sandyville, Joe Bradley of New Haven; four daughters, Virginia and Eileen, both of Ripley, Eva Jones of Elizabeth, Reva Kibble of Parkersburg; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manford Bradley, in 1942. Services were held Friday at the Sandyville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Melvin Conley and the Rev. Paul Morrison officiating. Burial was in Fairplain Cemetery. Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, was is charge of arrangements. Donations may be made to the Sandyville United Methodist Church.
