Information: Funeral services were held Thursday at Vail Funeral Home in Ripley for Mrs. Beulah Whiting, 72, of Ripley who died Tuesday in Jackson General Hospital after a long illness.  The Rev. William Eaton officiated with burial in Fairplain Cemetery.  Born June 8, 1898, in Ripley, she was a daughter of Robert and Mary Rhodes Shatto, and was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Ripley.  Surviving are her husband, Holly Whiting; one brother, Wade Shatto, Ripley; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Rawling, Deerfield, Ohio, and Mrs. Dolly Woodall, Akron, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.
