  <p>Information:      Robert Lakin Whited, 74, of Anderson, passed away, November 12, 2016 at his residence in Anderson, IN.  He was born May 17, 1942 in Jackson County, WV, and resided most of his life in Anderson.  Robert graduated from Ripley High School (Class of 1960), Ripley, WV.  He was retired from Indiana Gas Company after 31 years of service.  He attended Grace Baptist Church, and was a member of the American Legion and the VFW and was a life member of the NRA.  He enjoyed in his past time hunting, fishing, tinkering in his garage and wood working.  Robert served his county proudly eight years in the United States Air Force.  Robert is survived by his wife, Janice E. Whited, of Anderson, IN,;  two brothers, Kenneth (Patricia) Whited of WV, Kevin  (Leah Ann) Whited of WV; sisters, Christine (Roger) Powell of FL, Shirlene Whited of WV, Vanessa Minns of WV; grandchildren, Andy (Bri) Whited of Anderson, Megan (Jon) McDaniel of Anderson, and Alexi Whited of Fishers.  He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, a daughter in law Shannon Whited of Anderson, sister in law Karen (Rich) Puskarich of Anderson, and a step-son, Jerrod Baysinger of Alexandria.  Robert is also survived by his special ""Indiana family"", Bob (Linda) Hastings, Paul Hastings and Steve (Peggy) Purdy, and his first wife, and mother of his two boys that preceded him in death, Janice S. Whited of Anderson.    He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Daisy Whited and two sons, Robert Whited, Jr. and Ricke Whited, and two sisters, Euseppi and Marilyn Korzep.  The Whited family would like to thank Dr. Parshad, staff and nurses at the Oncology Center for their kindness.  Everyone always greeted Bob with smiles.  We are grateful to you.  Visitation will be held from 11 am to 1 pm Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Grace Baptist Church, Anderson, IN.  Cremation will take place.  Services have been entrusted to the Loose Funeral Homes and Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013. </p>
