Information: BREVARD NC - Patricia Turley Whited, born April 5, 1924, died Septamber 30th, 2011.  Patti was born in Logan, West Virginia  to Agnes and Bill Turley and was a graduate of Logan High School and Mary Washington College.  A loving mother, she raised her two daughters, Mary Kay White and Meg Eastman Thompson, in Ravenswood WV with husband, Fred White.  An avid golfer and active bridge player, she was a friend to many.  In 1976, Pat moved to Bradenton FL, where she married her high school sweetheart with whom she was reunited at their 50th reunion.  James Whited was the love of her life and they had many happy years together.  After his death, she spent time in Brevard NC to be close to family.  Patti was gracious, caring, generous and fun loving; she cherished her family and wide circle of friends.  Patti is survived by her brother, Bill Turley; nephew Bill (Cam) and Margaret Turley; daughters, Mary Kay White and her partner, Jane Ferguson, Meg Eastman Thompson, husband, David Thompson and his children, Wilfred and Julia; and granddaughter, Kate Eastman.  We wish to thank Tore's Home for the loving care they provided to her.  She died peacefully surrounded by loving family and friends under the gentle care of Transylvania County Hospice.  Remembrances to your local hospice or Transylvania Animal Alliance Group at PO Box 844, Brevard NC 28712.
