  <p>Information: Geneva Hatcher White, 79, of Monterey, Va., died Sunday, May 7, 1989, at the University of Virginia Hospital after a short illness.  She was born Feb. 6, 1910, at Kentuck, a daughter of the late Roscoe and Icy Williams Hatcher.  She was a member of the Wesley Chapel Advent Christian Church, Monterey and had formerly taught school in West Virginia.  Prior to her retirement, she and her husband operated the Headwater Store.  Surviving:  son, Ronald J. White of Monterey; daughter, Patsy W. King of Monterey; brothers, Howard Hatcher of Gallipolis, Ohio and Wayne Hatcher of Ripley; sister, Eloise Hopkins of Elkhart, Ind.; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Jackson White in 1986.  Services were held Tuesday at Obaugh Funeral Home, McDowell, Va, with Revs. Robert Gue and C.
